Turning Tonbridge Pink

Hilden Grange was a profusion of pink on the last day of term as we joined together with Tonbridge School to show our support of Cancer Research UK. At a special whole school assembly to mark the end of our Wellbeing Week, Tom Instance, Head Boy of Tonbridge School (and ex Head Boy of HG!) explained how important it is to support those who have been affected by cancer and how donations will be used to fund research to fight it.

The school chefs treated us to pink cakes during the morning and many wigs and outfits were worn and admired. Thank you to all of those who donated, including the children, many of whom donated their own money for the cakes. Thank you also to our former pupils at Tonbridge School for their invaluable help in decorating the school so beautifully.
