A History of Excellence

Many of our learners attend top grammar schools at age 11, including The Judd School, The Skinners’ School and Tonbridge Grammar School. Our examination results rank among the highest in Kent, preparing our pupils for the for all Independent Senior and Grammar Schools. At 11+, our pupils have achieved a 92-100% pass rate to Grammar Schools in the past 4 years. For the past 10 years, all pupils gained entry into their first-choice secondary school at age 13, in addition to other independent schools.

A Pathway to Success

Our leavers have a long history of attending top secondary schools, often on full scholarships. At Hilden Grange, students are pushed to achieve excellent outcomes in their entrance exams and develop their skills outside the classroom too. We support learners’ ambitions and goals for secondary school, helping them choose and apply to the best school for their interests.

Our students have been awarded an extraordinary 114 scholarships since 2019 in all areas such as academic, drama, art, music and sport. This includes scholarships to Radnor House, Sutton Valence, Sevenoaks and Tonbridge; music and art awards to Tonbridge; and a dance award to Kent College. Our awards to Tonbridge were particularly notable this year, with seven of our pupils receiving academic scholarships, including the highest award, the Ainslie Scholarship.
