Victory for Hilden Grange in 46 of the 48 matches!

We have had a brilliant first half term of athletics with all pupils taking part in a full range of events in PE and Games lessons and the Hilden Grange athletics teams taking part in 3 meetings against 6 other schools and emerging victorious in 46 of the 48 matches with only the Year 4 Girls and Year 5 Boys tasting defeat on one occasion. 

There have been numerous school records broken with Max in Year 8 breaking both the Discus and Shot records. Suulola in Year 3 breaking the 150m, Long Jump and High Jump records and Seren who broke the Year 5 Javelin and 600m records.

Our top athletes head to the Julie Rose Stadium for the Kent Championships in a bid to qualify for the National Finals at Birmingham’s Alexander Stadium. 

All our pupils will also take part in our annual House Athletics competition in the final week of term.
