Stimulating After-School Care for Flexible Schedules

We provide wraparound care from 7:30am to 6pm. In addition to offering a secure environment for learners outside of regular school hours, this programme is carefully planned, with exciting and thrilling experiences to inspire and stimulate learners’ interests. A variety of clubs and activities are available after school, from sports to the arts and cultural opportunities. Our exemplary wraparound care allows learners to pursue their unique ambitions while giving busy parents peace of mind.

Activities and Clubs

With extensive and thrilling activities to choose from, our pupils are encouraged, nurtured and stimulated as they seek to expand and deepen learning outside of the core curriculum. We have clubs for all interests, be they cultural, athletic or artistic. Below is a sample of these clubs which, by providing a holistic education, equips students with the tools to succeed in the 21st century.

Holiday Club

Additional wraparound care is available during holidays, in the form our Holiday Club. Any pupil can attend Holiday Club from 9am to 4pm for one week in April and December and three weeks in the Summer holidays.

Fees

Nursery to Pre-Prep (Year 2)

7:30-8:00am - Breakfast Club	£3.40 per session including breakfast
8:00-8:25am - Early Room	No charge
3:30-3:50pm - Clubs and Enrichment Programme	No charge unless a specialist activity
3:50-4:00pm - Changeover Time	Children staying for After School Care are taken to this facility after the clubs finish, i.e., between 3:50pm and 4:00pm
4:00-5:00pm	After-school care (1st session) - runs after clubs and activities finish and includes a sandwich tea - sessional charge currently £4.00.
5:00-6:00pm	After-school care (2nd session) - runs after clubs and activities and includes a sandwich tea - sessional charge currently £6.20.

Prep (Years 3-8)

Wraparound care is available from 7:30am to 6:00pm for Years 3 to 8 (Prep School). The standard school day in the Prep School runs from 8:25am to 4:00pm.

After-School Clubs and Enrichment Programme

3:20-3:50pm	Clubs and Enrichment Programme (Nursery and Pre-Prep children)
3:50-4:00pm	Changeover time (children staying for after-school care are taken to this facility after the clubs finish - i.e., between 3:50pm and 4:00pm).

The after-school clubs and Enrichment Programme provided by Hilden Grange staff are usually free of charge. A small charge to cover costs is made if an external coach, teacher or leader is brought in. The clubs and Enrichment Programme are run on a termly basis (a booking form and information are sent to parents towards the end of each term and to parents of new starters at the same time).
