Crazy Contraptions

Science is a subject that provides great scope for invention and creativity. As part of their ‘Forces’ topic, Year 6 have been studying ‘Levers, Gears and Pulleys.’ In a very practical lesson they made their own K’Nex models and then went on to design their own Rube Goldberg inspired Crazy Contraptions. These ingenious machines will perform a variety of household tasks, from feeding dogs and hamsters to juicing fruit and boiling eggs!
