Pre-Prep Welly Wade raises almost £1400

The Pre-Prep children at Hilden Grange School undertook a ‘welly wade’ to raise money for Comic Relief and The Vipingo Village Fund.   Dressed in red and wearing wellies, the children and their teachers waded around the school field three times – quite a considerable distance for the younger ones,  some of whom are only three.   Some children found the energy to sprint around an extra lap. 

Mrs Dawson, Head of Pre-Prep commented “The children were very eager to raise money for these causes and the rain did not dent their enthusiasm in the slightest.   Our original aim of raising £500 was greatly exceeded thanks to the generosity of family and friends; we raised almost £1400 and have been totally overwhelmed by the generosity of our parents and friends."
