Sporting Success

Congratulations to members of the U9 boys' cross country team, who won the Hazelwood Cross Country Relay competition. 

The U9 boys' football team also put in a great performance at the Yardley Court soccer tournament to win the plate competition.

Success at Cobham Rugby Festival
Further down the school, our younger boys are also showing great promise.  Six Year Two pupils were part of the Tonbridge Juddians RFC team which took part in a Rugby Festival at Cobham.  The team captain wrote the following report himself:

It was a long way to get to Cobham. We got there and waited for an hour because we got there early. Our first team to play was Dorking. We won it 5-0.

The second team was…I can’t remember….but we beat them! The third team was London Irish; we beat them 5-1.

In the final  we drew with Effingham, 5-5. I think the day was amazing and we deserved to win the final.

The players wore their kit at school and shared their success  in winning the tournament with fellow pupils in assembly.
