Science quiz team qualifies for semi final of national contest

On Thursday 17th May we hosted the area heat of the Year 5 National Science Quiz. Seven teams participated and we were represented by two teams.   Each question was worth between 20 and 100 points which led to some big scores. Despite fierce competition the Hilden Grange teams remained in the top three throughout the competition but were just pipped at the post in the final minutes.

Both of our teams did very well and were a great credit to the school and we were delighted to hear that the high score achieved by our second team has allowed them to qualify for the Semi-Final as one of the highest scoring runners up.
