Fingers on buzzers...

Great breadth of knowledge secured the Hilden Grange quiz team a place in the final of the Junior Schools Challenge. The team of four Year 8 pupils beat Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Faversham by an impressive margin of 480 to 290 points.  If they put in a similar performance at the final, the boys could be off to the inter-regional and then the national stages!

The quiz was conducted in the style of University Challenge, so in addition to impressing with their general knowledge, the team also had to think quickly and be the first to the buzzers.   

The next match will take place before the end of term and will be against Parkside Prep School in Surrey.  We wish our team the best of luck!
